Team Ontario

Dodgeball Ontario is proud to announce the formation of Team Ontario, representing our province at Dodgeball Canada’s inaugural Nationals on October 4–5, 2025, at RIM Park in Waterloo, ON.

This year, we are fielding competitive teams in both the Men’s and Women’s divisions, with a single goal: bringing gold home to Ontario.

About Team Ontario

The athletes selected for Team Ontario have earned their place through a rigorous evaluation process. Our Head Coaches, in collaboration with Dodgeball Ontario’s strategic brain trust, have carefully assessed players using Dodgeball Canada’s national athlete evaluation criteria.

Over the coming months, both teams will participate in regular training sessions and development initiatives to ensure they’re prepared to compete at the highest level.

Dodgeball Ontario Announces

Full Team OntarioRoster and Coaching Staff for
2025 National Dodgeball Championships

Toronto, ON – June 6, 2025 — Dodgeball Ontario is proud to officially unveil the athletes and coaching staff who will represent Team Ontario at the inaugural National Dodgeball Championships, hosted by Dodgeball Canada on October 4–5, 2025, at RIM Park in Waterloo, Ontario. This event marks a new chapter in Canadian dodgeball. Ontario enters the competition with proven championship rosters in both the Men’s and Women’s Foam Divisions, supported by elite coaching and a united mission: bring gold home to Ontario.

Each athlete earned their place through an invitation from the coaches based on Dodgeball Canada’s national evaluation standards. In the months leading up to Nationals, both teams will train to compete at the highest level of Canadian dodgeball.

Meet the Coaching Staff

Shadae Berkley
Head Coach, Women’s Foam Division
Berkley brings elite-level experience and an empowering leadership style to Ontario’s women’s squad. A two-time WDBF World Champion as both athlete and coach, she is an eight-time National Club competitor and a six-time provincial champion. With over ten years of coaching experience, Shadae is known for creating a fair, inclusive, and high-performance environment where athletes can thrive.
 

Victor Gravili
Head Coach, Men’s Foam Division
Gravili is one of the most accomplished coaches in both National and International dodgeball. He holds the WDBF record for coaching appearances and wins, having led Team Canada to six podium finishes - including a World Championship title. Domestically, he recently guided the Toronto Mavericks to their second National Club title. As of the founding members of Dodgeball Canada and with over 15+ years of coaching experience, Gravili has helped shape the sport’s competitive infrastructure nationally and abroad.
